Performing arts may represent the oldest and greatest genre of expressive arts in Nigeria and Africa in general. As we have defined it here it also includes some of Nigeria's most contemporary forms of expression including technology driven genres such as film and video. Performance includes arts which are best appreciated by watching them performed live.
