DMC 10th Anniversary Celebrations

Dagara Music Center School of Traditional Culture, Medie - Ghana, Bernard Woma - Founder and Director, Nswawam, Ghana

June 15th, 2010

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

DMC 10th Anniversary Celebrations: A Decade of Cultural Education, Cultural Tourism, Community Service, Youth Empowerment, and Poverty Alleviation

OUR GRATITUDE TO YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT
(please view the list of donors here)

We, the Board, Management and Staff of the Dagara Music Center wish to express our sincere gratitude to you for gracing the occasion of our 10th anniversary celebrations. Your participation indeed meant a lot to us and your contribution will always remain part of our history. We thank you sincerely for making time to attend this historic event and for supporting our efforts of promoting indigenous traditional music and cultural education.

As the theme of the celebration "Harnessing Culture for Socio-Economic Development" clearly states, we look forward to working together to preserve traditional forms of education through the teaching of music, dance and visual arts. With your continued support, we can all help promote not only Ghanaian culture but also that of the whole of Africa in the rest of the world and for many generations to come.

We, therefore, take this opportunity to present to you our development goals for the next five years. Enclosed is the five year strategic development plan for your perusal. We look forward to any assistance that your organization can offer us to enable us to achieve these development goals.

May God richly bless you and replenish your financial contribution to the celebration.

Thank you once more.

Yours faithfully,

Bernard Woma
